Section Leader

Knows and teaches in sectional rehearsal the notes for each song

Knows the sound the chorus is working towards and helps singers to achieve it

Checks that either they will be at rehearsal or that someone in the section is deputised to take any sectional

Makes sure that new singers know the induction process and checks their progress

Advise the Musical Director on potential successors or deputies when needed

May choose to work towards chorus training targets
