• Rehearses new and current repertoire to a high standard for gigs and contests
• Conducts the chorus
• Oversees training and technique improvement
• Oversees the musical induction of new singers
• Chooses appropriate new music in consultation with the music team to further the aims of the chorus
• Ensures appropriate resources are available to the chorus to help with learning repertoire
• Arranges coaches
• Makes a report at the annual singers' meeting
• Appoints and leads the Music team
